Zenit signal Arshavin exit.

Zenit St Petersburg coach Dick Advocaat has left in-demand forward Andrei Arshavin out of his plans for the coming weeks, with the Euro 2008 star set to to leave the club.

The 27-year-old is on the wanted lists of several top clubs across Europe, with Chelsea and Arsenal believed to be among the interested parties.

That situation has left Advocaat concerned that his player is not focused on the job in hand, with Arshavin almost certainly having played his last game for Zenit.

Advocaat told the Russian media: "Andrei won't play until things are all cleared up. "It's a joint decision. Better put, I told him he shouldn't play and he agreed. "I understand the situation perfectly, as he's been playing here for seven years.

"The wish of a player who is still young to go and shine at a foreign club is very understandable.
"We can't keep hold of the player if someone offers good money, in the region of 25 or 30million euros."
