Spurs are preparing to spend some of the money they recieved from the transfer of Robbie Keane to Liverpool by preparing a bid for Blackburn Rovers unsettled midfielder David Bentley.
The England international has made no secret of the fact that he wishes to leave Ewood Park and Spurs have been long time admirers, also the move would free up funds for new Rovers boss Paul Ince to strengthen his squad before the big kick of in a couple of weeks time.
