Man U complete tour of Africa with win.
Manchester United completed their tour of Africa and their second game in 24 hours with a 2-1 over Premier League rivals Portsmouth in a friendly in Nigeria.
If during the season either manager complains about fatigue and too many games being played, someone will have to point out the need (other then greed!) to play 2 games in 2 different countries in 24 hours.
To be fair the teams were drastically changed from the previous days matches but travelling alone would take it`s toll.
Goals from Chris Eagles and Carlos Tevez for United sealed the win with Pompey`s Jermaine Defoe netting a consolation late in the closing minutes and the new forward line of Crouch and Defoe look even at this early stage to be one worth keeping an eye out for in the coming season.
The two teams meet again at Wembley on the 10th August in the Community Shield.
