Inter say ball in Lampard`s court.
Internazionale president Massimo Moratti claims the ball is now in Frank Lampard's court over his potential move from Chelsea to Italy.
The England international is wanted by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in his new job at the San Siro, but the Serie A champions have seen two bids rejected by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy in recent days.
Lampard remains locked in a contract stand-off with the Blues, who insist he is not for sale and is expected to see out the remaining 12 months of his existing deal.
And although Moratti has admitted he is keen to lure the 30-year-old to Italy, he has suggested there is little more his club can do to make the deal happen.
New Chelsea coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is hopeful of persuading the former West Ham United youngster to agree terms on a new contract to stay with the Blues.
"We have made our offer to Chelsea, now it will depend on the player," said Moratti.
"He is an element we like, but more than this we cannot do.
"But we are strong and I am happy with what we have done in the transfer market until now."
