Choi edges into Open lead - British Open Day 2.

A round of 67 yesterday was enough to give Korean K.J.Choi a 1 shot lead over veteran Greg Norman going into the 3rd round today.

Choi is the only player at present under par after the first 2 rounds, however the round of the day came from Colombian Camilo Villegas who shot a 65 to put him 3rd on the leader board on +1 over par for his 36 holes so far played.

The Championship is still open with a host of players just tucked in behind the leaders, such as Ian Poulter, David Duval and defending champion Padraig Harrington, who despite carry an injury is putting up a brave defence of the title he won last year.

Bookies favourite and mine Sergio Garcia is +5 at present but is more than capable of launching a charge to be in contention on the final day, but my other hope Miguel-Angel Jimenez must wait for next year after a disastrous round that saw him card an 82 for his round.
