Annan get into Scottish League.
Annan Athleic have replaced Gretna in the Scottish Third Division this season.
They gained 17 of the 29 votes required to beat Cove Rangers for the coveted place. The side are based in Dumfries and Galloway an are 16 miles from Scottish Cup Finalists Queen of the South.
The representaives that went to visit the club were all impressed by the organisation and set up behind the side, and though Annan only finished 7th in last seasons East of Scotland league they will be with the big boys come the big kick off later this month.
Their first match as an SFL club will be on the 26th July when they are at Clyde in the Scottish Challenge Cup.
