Adriano closes in on Chelsea move.
Internazionale striker Adriano could move to Chelsea as part of a deal that would see Frank Lampard switch to the San Siro, according to the Brazilian's agent.
Inter have had an £8million offer for the England international rejected by the Blues but have not given up hope of eventually landing the 30-year-old.
Recent speculation has suggested Inter will offer Adriano plus cash in a bid to tempt Chelsea into a sale.
The Inter player's representative, Gilmar Rinaldi, told The Observer: "Mourinho and Adriano have met and talked, but I can't say how this meeting went.
"The player is flying back from Rio de Janeiro to Milan next week as the pre-season starts on Wednesday.
"I will neither confirm nor deny that he will be exchanged for Lampard."
Twenty-six-year-old Adriano has scored 59 goals in 138 appearances for Inter since making his debut for the club almost seven years ago.
He has also been loaned out to Fiorentina, Parma and Sao Paulo during his time in Italy.
