Yorkshire comes to Wembley - League 1 Play Off Final

Leeds United and Doncaster Rovers will today fight out the final of the league 1 play off for the right to play Championship football next season.

Leeds have done extremely well this year following their relegation last season and subsequent 15 point penalty to make the play offs, also they have had to reach this point without the management team of Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet who went to Newcastle and Spurs respectively.

However in Gary McAllister they have a manager who likes his team to play football the way he did with class and style. He has at his disposal a fine crop of youngsters who if he can keep them together can see the club go on to better things. Weather he can keep hold of them or not depends on the result of todays game.

Leeds very impressive in their semi final clash with Carlise coming back from losing the home leg 2-1 to record a 3-2 aggregate win.

Doncaster themselves were also impressive in their semi final clash with Southend winning the home leg 5-1 after a 0-0 draw at Roots Hall in the first leg and only missed out on automatic promotion on the last day of the season.

Again Sean O`Driscoll the Donnie manager has put together a squad on a limited budget that would not be out of place playing at a higher level.

The 2 clashes between these sides in the league does not offer a clue to which way the game will go today as both beat the other 1-0 in their away fixtures.

So for once i am just going to sit back and enjoy what i hope for all neutrals will be an entertaining game and may the best team win.
