UEFA Cup Semi`s - Munich for Manchester?
The UEFA Cup semi final 2nd legs take place tonight and they are both well balanced.
Munich travel to Zenit St Petersburg for a difficult ti after the 1-1 draw in Germany last week. Luca Toni is back from suspension for Bayern tonight and they will need him to be on top form to overcome their Russian opposition.
I wrote earlier in the week that i thought Bayern will get to the final in Manchester and i am sticking by that opinion but i feel it will be a harder game then they might of first expected. I can see this game going to extra time but i am banking on the German`s greater European experience to get them through.
The other tie between Fiorentina and Rangers i believe will be more straightforward. Though Rangers have performed well away in Europe this season i feel that this could be one game to far especially after the Old Firm derby at the weekend which saw them lose 3-2 to Celtic in a cracking game.
Fiorentina should have too much fire power tonight and i expect them to win tonight at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
