Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is reportedly Manchester United's main transfer target this summer. United's European scout Martin Ferguson has watched Fabiano in action several times this season. The Old Trafford club are rumoured to be favourites to land him ahead of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Roma. Sevilla have suggested it would cost in excess of 40million to buy him, but sources believe the fee will be closer to just 7million. Fabiano has been on top form this season, scoring 33 goals in 38 games.

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray has said he has been contacted by an abundance of agents since his side secured promotion last weekend. The Baggies will be playing Premier League football next term after beating QPR 2-0 on Sunday, and will be looking to improve their squad in the summer. "Agents are only doing their jobs," he said. "They target certain clubs for certain players. You would be a fool to ignore them. You have to listen to the names and, hopefully, the one you were waiting to hear might be among those they give you. It has been busier since last Sunday than at any other stage of the season.

Tottenham Hostpur manager Juande Ramos believes countryman Rafa Benitez is happy at Liverpool and will not be forced out. The Anfield club travel to Spurs on Sunday in the final game of a turbulent season which has seen Benitez linked with the exit door on several occassions. But Ramos has said: "Every day football comes up with a different situation and every club is different. I'm sure Liverpool, with its philosophy, will be able to come out of this. There are always things that crop up that get in the way of the normal running of a club, but I think Rafa is very happy there. It's been a long time since I've seen him. I have a very good relationship with him and we get on very well. I always look forward to seeing Spanish people, especially friends of mine."
