Snooker World Championship - O`Sullivan wins 3rd Title.
"Rocket" Ronnie O`Sullivan lived up to his nickname by defeating Ali Carter 18-8 yesterday to lift his 3rd World title at the Crucible yesterday.
In a great display of snooker O`Sullivan dominated his brave opponent from the start and never really looked in trouble throughout the match, making Carter pay for any errors which allowed the Essex potting machine to get his hand on the table.
Altogether Ronnie pocketed just over £328,000 in prize money in his 16 days at Sheffield as he also claimed a share of the highest break prize money with Carter for their 147`s earlier in the tournament.
My maths has never been my strong suit but i make that just over £20,000! Now where did i leave my Snooker cue!!!
