Who? - Jens Lehmann - Speculation Where is he? - Arsenal Who is he linked with? - Stuttgart or Retirement
Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has revealed that he is unsure about his footballing future. The veteran stopper is out-of-contract with the Gunners in July and has not yet committed himself to a new team. German club Stuttgart have shown an interest in signing him, but Lehmann says he may consider retirement at the end of Euro 2008. "The situation is that I have no club from July 1," said Lehmann. "At the moment, that would mean I am retiring because I have no other club. VfB [Stuttgart] are led seriously, have a good team which plays attractive football and, thus, a good coach. I have known [Stuttgart director of sport[ Horst Heldt for 20 years and these are all arguments which would speak for joining them. Either I find a new club before we play [against Serbia] in Gelsenkirchen on May 31, or I decide after the tournament. It could also be that a decision is taken after my holidays on July 25, but I am under no pressure."

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez believes his club must keep on spending to stay title contenders. The Anfield side finished this season in fourth, eleven points behind winners Manchester United, and the Spaniard said: "Every year you must improve a lot because the other teams are doing the same. We signed two or three really good players, and also players who've been good for the club."
