Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has said the key to his happiness at the club is manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The Portuguese winger has been linked on many occassions with a move away from Old Trafford and said on Friday he may consider his future after the Champions League Final. However, Ronaldo has now hinted that he will stay as long as Ferguson does. "The boss is the reason I am here in the club," he said. "He helped me a lot, not just this season but the seasons before. I feel very good at the club. I want to carry on like that. I have many friends here in the club. I am five years in the club and I know everyone now — the staff, the players, and I feel like this is my home."

Unwanted Barcelona star Deco has said he will only consider a move to either the Premier League or Serie A in the summer. The Portuguese international has been told he is surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp, and has been linked with a move to Chelsea among others. "I want to play where I am wanted and to continue playing at the highest level," he says. "I do not want to stay at a club which shows it doesn't count on me. I'll go to England or Italy, that's for sure. I won't stay in Spain because the only club of Barcelona's level is Real Madrid and I will never go to Real."

Former Arsenal star Thierry Henry could join David Beckham in the MLS, if reports are to be believed. The French international striker signed for Barcelona from the Gunners last summer, but has struggled to settle in his first season at the Nou Camp. Rumours have linked him with a return to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Newcastle United thought to be possible destinations. However, new MLS club Seattle Sounders, who will join the league next March, may offer him a 5.2million-a-year contract to sign for them. "Henry's profile in the US is far higher than Beckham's when he signed for LA Galaxy, purely because of the Gillette ads," said an MLS insider.
