Exeter Return to Football League
After 5 years in the Conference and almost being on the brink of extinction Exeter booked the place in League 2 yesterday by beating Cambridge United 1-0 in the Blue Square Premiersip Final at Wembley.
The victory made up for last season`s disappointment when they lost at the same stage to Morecambe.
The only goal came from veteran Rob Edwards and ensures that Exeter`s young manager Paul Tisdale can get the chance to grow his reputation as a manager destined for higher things.
The Grecian`s now join Champions Aldershot in League 2 next season.
