Chelsea linked with Madrid defender
Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of making a £55 million for Sergio Ramos.
The Blues are thought to have identified several targets to improve their squad in the summer, and the Real Madrid defender is understood to be one of them.
Ramos can play at right-back and centre-back and became the third most expensive teenager in history when he signed for Real from Sevilla for around £20million in 2005.
He has a contract with Real which runs until 2013, but is rumoured to have grown frustrated with the club's reluctance to improve that deal.
