Championship - W.B.A. and Stoke reach Premiership
A 2-0 at Q.P.R was enough to see W.B.A. promoted as Champions to the Premier league next season where they will be joined by Stoke City who fought a 0-0 draw with Leicester at the Brittania Stadium a result that condemned Leicester to League 1 for thr first time in their history.
On a dramatic final day the play off positions were finally filled by Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace and Watford the latter team making the play offs courtesy of a 1 goal better difference then Wolves who must be rueing the chances they had to improve on their 1-0 scoreline at home to Plymouth.
With only Neil Warnock`s young Palace side showing any kind of form going into the play offs my money is on them to reach the Premiership though how long they will stay there if indeed they do reach the "promised land" depend on Simon Jordan`s willingness to spend and Neil Warnock`s powers of persuasion in keeping a very exciting crop of young players together.
