Championship Play Offs - C. Palace v. Bristol City

The race for the last remaining place in next seasons Premiership is now down to 4 sides with Crystal Palace, Bristol City, Hull and Watford all fighting for that one remaining ticket.

Palace entertain Bristol in the 12.15 GMT kick off today and are the form side entering into the play offs. Neil Warnock`s exciting young side have been a revelation and it is hard to think that back in November they were in the drop zone.

Since that time however they have put a great run together and whilst the other 3 sides have stayed in the play off positions thanks to their earlier season form especially in the cases of Watford and Bristol City, Palace have launched a run which brings them into the play offs on a good run, add to that the fearlessness of youth and i feel Palace will be a hard side to beat.

Bristol City on the other hand must be giving manager Gary Johnson many sleepless nights as they were challenging for automatic promotion for so long till the dreaded nerves struck.

I feel it is harder to pick up form especially at this stage of the season then to go into a game like this on a fair run, and provided the Palace side do not freeze in the biggest game of most of their fledglng careers i think they can win today and get a result in the return leg to book their place in the play off final later this month.
