Bristol City v. Hull The £60 million Match - Championship Play Off
Today sees the start of the play off finals at Wembley with Bristol City and Hull fighting it out to see who joins W.B.A. and Stoke City in next seasons Premiership.
This match is billed as the £60 million game as that is what it is approximately worth to the winner when they enter the big league.
In the 2 league encounters Bristol had the edge earning a 0-0 draw at the KC Stadium and winning 2-1 at Ashton gate in the regular season and in fact only 1 point and 1 place seperated the 2 sides after 46 matches with Hull 3rd and Bristol City 4th.
However prior to their win over Crstal Palace in the play off semi finals Bristol had been going through a bad patch of form whilst Hull who demolished Watford in their semi have it seems hit form at just the right time.
As the figures suggest i expect it to be a tight affair as is the case with most play off finals but at best price 11/8 about a Hull win in 90 minutes my money is going on Hull to break the trivia question of the moment and no longer be the biggest City in England never to have had a team in the top flight.
