Who will win the Premier League?
Who will win the premier league? A question that after 36 games is still open for debate which in itself makes for a refreshing change.
For quite some time it looked like Arsenal would finally get the reward that their football has so richly deserved but like lemmings seeing the edge of the cliff the urge to self destruct was too great.
This leaves Man Utd and Chelsea tied at the top at the table but despite Chelsea`s win yesterday i feel advantage is still with Man Utd.
Man U have West Ham at home and Wigan away and i cannot see the hammers winning at Old Trafford for the 2nd season in a row and if United have to go to Wigan looking for a win it is hard to see them not getting it.
Chelsea have in my opinion a much harder run in with an away game at Newcastle where the Geordies have at last started to play like a team that believe in themselves and follow this up with a home game against Bolton on the final day. Bolton are very much involved in the relegation dog fight and though i would expect Chelsea to win that game the Newcastle match could be a potential banana skin.
It is hard to see Man Utd dropping points which is exactly what they have to do because of their vastly superior goal difference and wouldn't Kevin Keegan enjoy it if he could say Alex Ferguson needed a favour from him to win a title!
So i will stick with united to win the title on goal difference for the first time since 1989.
