Ronnie stands to pick up 157,000 pounds for the break provided no other player equals the feat during the rest of the tournament and he is a 10/1 shot to repeat the feat himself with most bookies.
For all his troubles he is without doubt on his day the best snooker player of his generation. He is quoted as saying that he will spend the money on a Bentley Convertible! It really is a hard life for some!!!
