French Football Betting
After last nights disappointing result I am going to the French league to
try to find a winner tonight.
Valenciennes who sits proudly in 3rd place in the league takes on bottom
side Metz. Valenciennes is equal on points with Nancy and Monaco but both
have better goal difference then Valenciennes.
I opposed Valenciennes earlier in the week to my cost when they went to
Lorient another side who have made a bright start to the season and beat
them 3-1.
I am not going to make the same mistake again! Valenciennes is 4/5 with
William Hill tonight for the win and that is good enough for me. They have
played 3 home games this season winning all of them whilst scoring 8 and
conceding 3. They have beaten Sochaux and Toulouse 3-1 and Marseille 2-1
in those games.
Metz meanwhile have only a 0-0 home draw to PSG to show for their efforts
this season and in their 3 away games to date have lost 2-0 to Rennes,2-0
to Monaco and 1-0 to Le Mans so could not have made a worse start to their
campaign.
Valenciennes do concede their fair share of goals however so the other bet
i am going for is an over 2.5 goals bet in the hope that Metz can break
their goal duck away from home and that the end result could be a 2-1 or
3-1 score line a price of 6/5 generally cannot be ignored.
