Eircom Prem Betting
A quick word on Saturdays efforts and I was pleased with my 2 out of 3
strike rate, though I was disappointed that St Johnstone were held to a
3-3 draw.
Today`s tip is: Bray Wanderers v Drogheda Utd Eircom Prem. @4/5
Drogheda top the league 3 points ahead of 2nd placed St Patrick`s whilst
Bray are 9th in the 12 team league.
Bray have had a very average season, but their recent form is woeful. they
have won 2 out of their last 5 games but that was against lowly Galway
(11th) and Waterford (10th). They have just been beaten at home by bottom
of the table Longford Town (3-1) so confidence in the Bray camp will be at
a low.
There are also five injuries to first team regulars and there could be as
many as seven out for this game so youth team players may have to be
drafted in.
Drogheda will be on a high after beating AC Libertas at Dalymount Park in
the UEFA Cup. The Drogs are looking forward to playing Helsingborgs in the
next round. This will be a tough game for them but it is over a week away
and they will be able to focus on extending their lead at the top of the
table.
Drogheda over the last 6 games have won 5 and drawn 1 scoring 10 and
conceding only 1 and in that time have won the last 3 at home.
Hopefully this should be a straightforward win for Drogs (if there is such
a thing!).
The head to head record over the last 11 games does not give Bray much
hope either with only 1 win in the last 11 in league and cup,and that win
came in August 2002 at Bray.
At best price 4/5 with various bookies I think the price is good though I
doubt it will hold for long.
A not of caution for those wanting to place a bet, get on quick as this
game is scheduled for a 3:00pm kick off BST.
Good luck,
Silverfox.
