Rose ReleasedQPR defender
Matthew Rose has been released by manager John Gregory. 31 year old Rose has been a decent servant to the Rangers since joining from Arsenal, bought for 500k by Stewart Houston. Rose played at centre back and central midfield over the years. Rose was also impressive at left back, but despite denials from the his agent, Rosie was injury prone. So much so I gather Rose was on a pay-per-play deal. Rose has been fit lately, but Gregory only played him 3 times, once from the bench and twice subbing Rosie around half time, so the writing was on the wall.
QPR Mass ExodusGregory sure has got rid of a few players lately. I am hoping QPR eventually replace numbers with a bit of quality.
Matthew Rose, Adam Czerkas, Ian Evatt, Egutu Oliseh, Ugo Ukah, Scott Donnelly, Jonathan Munday and Matthew Hislop have left the club recently. I am sure more players will be shown the door before long.
Tommy Doherty (loan), Sean Thomas (loan) and Kevin Gallen (loan) will probably not play for QPR again, who knows?
