As of today this web site is unfortunately no longer able to show any images of matches involving Queens Park Rangers or any league club.

I am also unable to show photographs of fans inside the stadium as well as any photos of any football stadium.

All Desktop wallpaper will also have to be removed as you are unable to download photographs of football unless the web site has a licence which costs well in excess of what I can afford.

The only way I can afford to obtain this licence is by charging people to use my web site which is something I'm not prepared to do.

This is due to action taken by the football league against all unofficial fan run football web sites.

At the moment I am working on ideas and ways to have some photos on the site so it is not all text and will hopefully not look too dull even if that involes me putting on a pair of gloves and a QPR shirt and re creating a Lee Cook corner in the garden.

If you want to see what any of our new signings look like you can now only do that on the official QPR web site or on sites which can afford this new licence.

This is just the latest in a long line of items which can no longer be shown on fans web sites. You may or may not be aware that among the things I can't show are the clubs fixtures which can only be seen on the official web site. It's all very disappointing and makes me wonder if it's really worth carrying on as next to be removed will probably be any reference to what happens at matches.

This web site was started in 1998 as part of a University project and has since grown over the last eight years reporting on every QPR match and attempting to keep QPR fans all over the world in touch with what is happening at the club.

This is a site born out of the love for Queens Park Rangers and football rather than a site looking to earn a few quid. Over the years this site has cost me over a thousand pounds to maintain with the only money coming in being when I used advertising on the site between 1999 and 2001 and all money earned from that was not enough to afford a season ticket when it was cheap.

In my opinion the more web sites about QPR the better as they can hopefully promote the club, give opposition fans information on QPR and possibly attract new fans to the club. Sadly though the football authorities seem determined to control the fans web sites and I'm sure would prefer it if each club just had one official web site which help to make money for the clubs and the football league.

It's a sad day when a fans website can no longer show photographs of Paul Furlong scoring against Oldham in the playoffs or the lads celebrating winning promotion at Hillsborough but I'm sure all these kind of images will be freely available from the official site if you want to see them.
