Deuce Ace Poker Forum
The Deuce-Ace Poker Forum is maintained and owned by John Diver from Derry, Ireland.

If you are a beginner poker player, the "DeuceAce" could be just what you are looking for. DueceAce is a friendly type gambling community/forum. Newbies online are probably better off at the more friendlier gambling forums than the Winneronline Forum for example. A place where discussion can get heated at times.

Poker Analysis Forum
The Poker Analysis Forum is quite a friendly poker community. Ellen and Dean Royston-ing run the show from Oz. Ellen is the poker player, Deaning the techie type with a warped sense of humour.

2+2 Poker Forum
The 2+2 Poker Forums is another well known online poker hotspot. Mat Sklansky, son of David, oversees the whole 2+2 operation.

Womens Poker Club
The WPC - Women's Poker Club is a Maryann Morisson project, obviously for female poker players. There are 3000 lady members in the WPC of all standards of play. The WPC Poker Forum is usually very busy.

The Womens Poker Club run online poker tournaments for the ladies and have also hosted the WPC Poker Showdown onland. The last one I recall was held in Vegas.

This Casino Sucks Board Open

This Casino Sucks Gambling Message Board and Forums are open to the general public to read for the first time in like - 3 years, maybe 4, I forget.

CPA -
CPA is short for Casino Players Advocate and runs the board for a relative called Mikey, who makes fleeting appearances at the board. The retired CPA is one of them old boys that has seen too much before, hence little surprises him, hence he comes across as a bit too patient with rogue casino operators in my opinion.

Mr Racetrack -
The main moderator man is Mr Racetrack, who funnily enough is the proprietor of www.mrracetrack.com. Mr Racetrack used to train and own racehorses. Track is a Harness Racing expert. I call it chariot racing. That's what happens when you watch Ben Hur (popups) once too often as a child.

Prizes -
Recently the CPA gave away about £500, ($800) in horseracing competition prizes for the members, without advertising the fact to the genaral public. That will change now, for I am advertising the board being open to the public for the first time.

Risque -
This Casino Sucks is for +18 year olds. The language is of an adult nature. If you live in a church, stay away. If not, say something that is'nt an offront to mankind and you'll not get barred from posting. The only barred person I know of is Damian Dunlap of the Online Players Union who does not get on with some of the Sucks membership atall. I like Damian. He is hard work though, I agree.

Conclusion - This Casino Sucks is a place where you can give it some welly about a casino that has annoyed you, or any other member of the online gaming community. You won't always be agreed with, but you will always be heard.

888 Casino Denounces Blog Comment Spamming and calls on the general public to make them aware of any similar sinister unethical activity by affiliates.

In other words, if you find comment links to 888 Casino (casino on net) or Pacific Poker on your blog you can contact - reportspam@888.com - and the offending webmaster will be warned after an investigation, then will have his/her account closed with all funds in it confiscated.

888 Spam Complaint Emails Dealt With As Follows -

a) It will be investigated and if we determine that the affiliate has engaged in any sort of unethical activity as outlined in our Policies (888.com affiliate agreement) - we will block the specific site and send a one-time warning to cease this behavior.

b) If after receipt of one warning the behavior repeats or persists then that affiliate's account will be blocked and any further payments due the affiliate will be suspended.

c) An email update reporting the result will then be sent to the person who emailed us the complaint within 72 hours.
Gamblog Comment - top marks for effort by the online gaming community. Specifically affiliates who rogued 888 and who have pushed hard against 888 to start reigning in their army of unethical marketeers.

888 Still Using Adware?
I notice they - 888 - never mentioned malware, scumware or adware marketers. I contend there is still a ways to go with 888 yet regarding ethical marketing practises. Rome was not built in a day I gather.

Report Blog Spam
Bloggers and blog readers should take the opportunity to test the system to see if it works and/or to see if 888 can make good on their word.

Personally, I doubt whether the 888 staff will be able to wade through the viagra and porn spam sent to reportspam@888.com, to get to the complaints about their advertising partners breaching their new ethical marketing terms and conditions.

Hopefully 888 do a bit better than Google, who seem to be losing the splogging battle in some style.

Brazil beat Japan 4-1, which may not seem anything special to you or I, but to the 70yr old from Lowestoft who bet 100k at 2/9 on, the result might have been slightly more important.

I guess the old boy would have been slightly worried when Japan took the lead, but come the final whistle, he'd have been in clover.

£22,222.22 Win At The Bookies On Brazil

A Lowestoft pensioner had an anxious 90 minutes on Thursday night after placing a whopping £100,000 on a World Cup match.

The man in his 70s, who has not been named, coolly walked into bookmakers William Hill in the town and placed his cash on world champions, Brazil, to beat rivals Japan.

At the final whistle, the retired businessman had won £22,222.22 - but only after nervous moments when Japan actually took the lead in the game.

In fact the man who took the bet, deputy manager Glenn Fuller, said he thought the punter had "probably had a heart attack".

Eventually the South Americans fought back to win 4-1, and the lucky punter collected his winnings yesterday telling staff "thank you very much".

Last night, Mr Fuller revealed his surprise when the regular customer walked into the shop in London Road North.

"It was a hell of a surprise," he said. "I didn't believe him at first".

He just said "I want place a bet on Brazil to beat Japan". He said it was the biggest bet of his life.

Mr Fuller rang his bosses for clearance to take such a large bet, believed to be the second biggest single punt of the tournament so far, and it took him about 15 minutes to count out the cash.

The pensioner took odds of nine to two on and may have begun to regret it as half time approached with Japan 1-0 up from a Keiji Tamada strike.

But Ronaldo equalised just before the break and Brazil romped home as winners with three further goals in the second period.

"We watched the game and when Japan scored we thought he must have had a heart attack or something," Mr Fuller said.

However, Mr Fuller said the gambler was not jumping for joy when he collected his winnings of �22,222.22 and his initial stake money yesterday.

"He just said thank you very much," he said.

The mysterious punter had more luck than a Swiss man who took a gamble last weekend.

He blew £400,000 predicting Italy would beat USA last Saturday - the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

I found a few new, yet pretty good gambling related websites just out of beta phase. One is for testing out the online betting shops, one for web casinos and another for testing out the big poker-rooms.

The gambling lab rats identities are unknown to me. That said, none of the reviewed poker-rooms, casinos or bookies are major league rogues as far as I know. Not bad for a new gaming website network. Politely put, most relatively large gaming website owners promote shite betting outlets. The gambling lab-rats have not as yet, so they get todays vote.

The Board of Fairground Gaming, the online gaming investment holding company, is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of The Spin Palace Group

The initial consideration payable comprises a cash payment of US$10 million and the issue of 9,100,100 ordinary shares and 17,294,707 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares in the Company. Online Gaming Firms Want Govt Regulation

The online gaming industry is hoping to meet the Government later this year in a high-level summit to thrash out regulation of the sector and how to encourage operators to move their businesses onshore.

Tessa Jowell, the Secretary of State at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, announced earlier this year that a meeting to discuss the sector would be held in the autumn.

A DCMS spokesman said the list of who it was going to invite had not yet been finalised, and that no date had been set, but confirmed it would be mainly politicians.

However, Brigid Simmonds, chief executive of industry group Business in Sport and Leisure (BiSL), said she was optimistic that the meeting would be widened to include representatives from the industry.

"The problem we have got is how to get people to act responsibly and set up some sort of Gambling Commission kitemark. It's also about how we sort out the fiscal tax part to ensure that the gaming companies do come onshore.
