Bodog claims Bowmans' US players
Online Gaming operation Bowmans has ceased US facing operations immediately.
All of Bowmans US player accounts are being migrated to Bodog.com, where all existing wagers and account balances will stand. This is the second high-profile deal of this nature Bodog has brokered, after claiming WWTS players several days ago.
Bowmans operates from Mauritius and is UK owned. The company was reportedly under no internal pressure to release it?s US players, however there is some speculation that recently passed UIGEA legislation forced this decision. This legislation is aimed at hindering financial transactions by US players with offshore Internet casinos, poker rooms and sports books.
