6:30 Coral - Bookmaker Of Year Maiden Auction Stakes
Cassie's Choice, My Secrets and Fadeyev are the three to look at here, and with little strong form to go on, the newcomer Fadeyev is taken to come out on top. Cassie's Choice has to be seriously considered here having shown promise first time out at Hamilton, she belied her 25-1 starting price at Ayr next time, doing all her best work in the closing stages. She must be thereabouts. Mark Johnstons My Secrets should come on for his debut run at Haydock where he finished in mid-division. He hails from a classy family-his grand dam is the classy On The House, and he should be a lot sharper this time and this looks easier. Kevin Ryan is always to be respected in juvenile races with newcomers, and his Fadeyev hails from a winning family, with enough pace in the breeding to suggest he can play a part here. Any market move should be heeded. A chance is taken that Fadeyev can make a winning debut.

7:05 Totesport.com Fillies' Handicap
Spinning Coin won three on the bounce last year and after going up the handicap as a consequence has found it hard to win since. However, his losing run has seen him come down the ratings and there were strong signs of a return to form last time, with a good performance at Windsor, finishing a close third in a competitive handicap. Riodan hails from the in form John Quinn yard, and the winning bumper horse chased home Alfie Flitts on his Flat debut before winning nicely at Hamilton. He is up against more experienced individuals here and it will be interesting to see how he fares. Spring Dream scored at Warwick and Wolverhampton before finishing third in a decent Haydock handicap, pulling hard at one stage. If his energy can be better harnessed he can play a part. Spinning Coin has dropped to a winning mark and can take advantage.

7:35 Antonia Deuters Handicap
Wins at Beverley and Hamilton have confirmed the high opinion that trainer Richard Fahey has of Kings College Boy and he comes into the race in great heart. Conditions are in his favour, and even with a three pound penalty to carry he must go well. He is two pounds better off for a neck beating by Ryedane at Catterick and it should be close between them again. Ryedane has turned in a fine front running performance since to score at Newcastle, and he too carries a three pound penalty and must go well in his current form. Caribbean Coral is a hold up performer for whom everything has to fall right, but he is running well at present. He finished a close fourth, beaten only a length in a higher grade handicap at Chepstow last time, having scored from Bluebok, who has won in fine style since, at Warwick. He will be staying on at the finish and is a danger. Kings College Boy won with some authority at Hamilton and can go in again.

8:05 Danethorpe Racing Purple And Pink Handicap
Pianoforte, Chicken Soup and Splodger Mac are worthy of consideration. After pulling off a surprise win at Ripon, scoring after a winless run at 20-1, Pianoforte proved that was no fluke when just touched off in a Haydock handicap next time. He seems to have suddenly improved, and there may be more to come. Chicken Soup won twice at Southwell last winter but shrugged off a five month absence to run a blinder at Chester, just touched off close home. He runs off the same mark here, and with his seven pound claimer on board can go well again. Splodger Mac scored here two outings ago, and the runner up has scored since so the form looks solid. He disappointed in an amateur riders race last time but the handicapper is waiting to raise him two pounds in future contests so his chance here is respected. Chicken Soup ran well on his re-appearance and can go one better.

8:35 Weatherbys Stallion Book Maiden Stakes
Dawera, Princess Toto and Arabian Tiger look the most interesting here and Dawera can come out on top. Dawera looks to have a solid claim here on the basis of a good debut run at Lingfield where she stayed on well to be a close third in a maiden over todays trip. Breeding suggests this is the right distance for her, and she may prefer a longer trip in time. Peter Chapple-Hyam unveils an interesting newcomer in Arabian Tiger, a son of Singspiel out of a winning sister to dual Derby winner Shirley Heights. The market should be watched for support. Pat Haslams Princess Toto can run well judged by a promising debut at Ripon, staying on in the closing stages against more experienced rivals. The race was won by a stable companion of Dawera, who can confirm the promise of that debut effort and collect this prize.

9:05 Countrywide Freight Handicap
In a tricky affair, Blue Maeve, Electric Warrior and Kool Ovation are the three against the field, and Blue Maeve is taken to follow up a good win last time.A dual winner at Redcar last season, Electric Warrior showed signs of a return to form at Newcastle last time, finishing third. He is fairly treated and in an open contest can go well. Blue Maeve had been running respectably before scoring in decisive fashion at Hamilton, staying on well in the closing stages. That was his third career win and although he is six pounds higher here he can go play a part in the finish. A winner at Newcastle last year, Kool Ovation ran well to be beaten only a neck at Carlisle last time. He is another who looks well treated at the moment, and this lightly raced individual can figure prominently. Blue Maeve won with authority at Hamilton and can score again.
