2:05 Totescoop6 Summer Handicap Hurdle
East Tycoon is taken to continue Tony McCoys winning run and get the better of Crathorne and Ela Re and collect this lucrative prize. Sue Smiths Ela Re landed a bit of a touch when scoring at Hexham last time and although raised twelve pounds for that facile success, he can play a leading role here in pursuit of this big purse. He may turn out to be well handicapped and could well have improved from last season. Crathorne is a versatile performer, scoring on the Flat at Musselburgh in May, and winning over hurdles at Southwell last month. He too may have a little in hand of the handicapper, held up at Southwell, he won nicely. After a winless run over fences, East Tycoon appreciated a return to the smaller obstacles when scoring at Stratford this week, and with the assistance of the champion jockey, who is in terrific form just now, East Tycoon can prove too strong for his rivals under a five pound penalty.
2:35 Cobelfret Juvenile Novices' Hurdle
Prince Bere, Ever Special and Carr Hall are the three for the shortlist here and Prince Bere is taken to come out on top and continue McCoys winning run. Ever Special has some respectable runs on the Flat to his credit although he is still a maiden, and ran well on his hurdling bow over the course and distance last time to be third without ever looking like winning. He will come on for the run though and looks an able recruit to the hurdling sphere. Carr Hall is making his debut here for Tim Easterby over hurdles but is another who has shown ability on the Flat, finishing a close up fourth behind Jellytot at Carlisle in a seven furlong handicap. He is sure to know his job and can run well at a nice price. Prince Bere is yet to win a race but has hurdling experience in France and can make it count. He comes from the David Pipe yard and the stable has had great success with French recruits over the years. Prince Bere can make a winning debut in this country.
3:10 Dfds Lys-line Handicap Hurdle
The Names Bond, Ostfanni and Treaty Flyer are the ones to consider here and The Names Bond can score. Having scored twice on the Flat at Musselburgh recently, Ostfanni comes here in good heart, and also has a recent Kelso success over hurdles to his credit. He weakened into fourth on his latest start though and may be a little high in the handicap. After Stratford and Aintree runs where he finished second on each occasion, Treaty Flyer made no mistake here last time but now faces a step up in trip and a ten pound rise in the ratings which could be prohibitive. After wins at Hexham and Newcastle during the winter, The Names Bond returned to winning ways at Worcester last time. Only five pounds higher here, The Names Bond can shoot down his opponents here.

Yes Sir, Tevere and Inch Pride are the three to look at most closely in this feature contest, and Yes Sir is taken to continue his winning run with Tony McCoy on board. Tevere scored impressively on his British bow at Southwell, and this French recruit has only been raised nine pounds for that comfortable win. He can go well here. Stable companion Inch Pride made no mistake at Stratford last time having disappointed at Hereford the time before. This is a step up from novice company however, and his overall form does not look strong enough. Yes Sir has rattled up a five timer and will be a popular choice with McCoy riding. He was not at all fluent when registering his most recent win, but his record is impressive, and he can continue his winning run in this highly competitive affair. Yes Sir gets the nod.
4:15 Jewson Novices' Hurdle (qualifier)
Kens Dream is taken to get the better of Wiggy Smith and Orpen Wide in a classy novice contest. A winner on the Flat at Epsom twonyears ago, Wiggy Smith has taken his last two hurdling contests in his stride and looks progressive. He has the assistance of Tony McCoy and is highly respected. A scorer on the Flat at Beverley last month, Orpen Wides hat-trick attempt over hurdles came unstuck over the course and distance last time. Although that was a handicap, he may still struggle to resume winning ways in this company. One time useful Flat handicapper Kens Dream scored well at Uttoxeter on his latest start, supplementing an earlier Plumpton cakewalk. Although the form of his latest win has been let down by the runner up, Kens Dream may have too much Flat speed for his rivals and can score again.
4:45 Mortons Print Novices' Handicap Chase
Cross The Highman is taken to get the better of Silver Dagger and Rich Song in this small field. Rich Song lost his maiden tag here last time but it may not have been much of a contest and he can be taken on after a long winless run. Silver Dagger has completed a hat-trick of chasing successes recently but went up the handicap as a result and was guilty of mistakes when pulled up last time. He may be a little high in the weights and he is overlooked. Dual hurdling winner Cross The Highman has been knocking on the door in his latest starts and this looks a good opportunity to put the record straight. He has lacked a turn of fot in the closing stages but this may be easier and Tony McCoy can prove an able persuader. Cross The Highman can score here.
5:20 Gilbert And Molly King Memorial Handicap Chase
Green Finger is taken to get the better of Gone Too Far and Tacolino in an intriguing finale. Gone Too Far has been on the go for some time and had a break of sorts before coming back from a two month rest to run a blinder at Perth this month, touched off on the line in a handicap hurdle. It is ten months since his latest chasing win and he may be in the handicappers grip. John Quinn has his string going well under both codes and his Green Finger has been running well of late, slamming his field in a handicap chase at hexham, before finishing a good second in a hurdle contest last time on a return visit to the track. He has only been raised seven pounds for that win and with McCoy on board can resume winning ways. Green Finger is the one to point out here.
