6'7 Giant Peter Crouch scored in the 82'nd minute via Trinidad with a back post header. Looking at the TV replays, it is clear that Peter Crouch fouled centre back Brent Sancho (6'0) using his dreadlocks, before he headed the Beckham cross past goalie Shaka Hislop.
Crouch grabbed a handful of Sancho's dreadlocks as he jumped. Sancho's head definately jerked backwards violently looking at the tv replays. Crouch definately had a handful of dreadlocks, thereby rendering the defender from challenging him for the header. A clear foul.

I have never been one for crying when on the pitch decisions go against England, or when the referee or linesman makes a mistake. I thought Diego Maradona's "hand of god" was quality football at it's worst and best, by a world class operator on fire.
So yes, I agree with
Rodney Marsh (site closed for now), well done Peter!

Crouch could have pulled his pants down and scored. That would have been a site for sore eyes.
a cheat is allways a cheat, pulling hair is the act of a coward, hence crouch is a a cowardly cheat.
