The Poker Player Bodygaurd Is Free To Download

Advanced Interactive Marketing has released Poker Bodyguard, a new freeware product which ensures that online poker players cannot cheat.

"Although many people don't know it, cheating in online poker rooms is rampant, and first-timers in particular can get cheated all the time," said Larry Brunken, founder of AIM. "PokerBodyguard makes poker playing in online gaming forums even safer than real-world casinos and poker rooms."

Poker Bodyguard will work in most online poker rooms. Players using the software can find out the history of other players and how often they play together. Most importantly, the program blocks poker viruses from hacking into computers by erecting a firewall.

The Poker Bodyguard Blurb includes this claim - "We monitor all the top online poker rooms 24 hours a day and then share this info in realtime with you to expose POKER TEAMS, pro's who win large percentage of games, players on the leader boards, and users with many complaints."

Gamblog Comment - Poker Bodygaurd sounds like a great idea to me. There is a need for this type of freeware to be available to online casino players. The online casino analyser project was something similar, but that went down in flames. Let's hope the poker bodyguard does not share the same fate.

What the issues there are regarding the Poker Bodyguard possibly monitoring, gathering and/or sharing online poker players personal information are unknown as yet.
