Red Spell
After studying the Winter Derby form the selection for big odds punters is Red Spell.
Red Spell came home in front of Counsels Opinion, African Dream and Compton Bolter in his last race, where he finished strongly. Although it is thought that he would be better over 1 mile, I personally don't think so.
The race before, he ran up against Arturis, Arturis beat him by 1 1/2 lengths, further behind were Bravo Maestro and Boo. Red Spell has weight in hand with all 3 of them.
Red Spell is also down to run in the Lincoln Handicap on the 25th March at Redcar. He is 16/1 for that race. If you have read into the race like I have and fancy him for Saturday and he runs well. He Definatley won't be 16/1.
Red Spell is on the top of R.Hannon's total prize money won. Even though he hasn't won this season yet! He has come Second 3 times on the trot.
