Fred Done Bookmakers have accepted a million pound Grand National wager from Simon Cowell and friends on 40/1 shot De Luc and 66/1 shot Le Roi Miguel. (plus a couple of sweeteners).
The extras - £1million for either horse winning, £250,000 for a second place, £100,000 for a third and £50,000 for a fourth place. A cool £1.25 million for the forecast by the way.
Any winnings will go to the NSPCC children's charity - which can't be bad.
Million Pound National BetFearless Fred Done accepted the £65,000 wager from Pop Idol judge
Simon Cowell, billionaire businessman
Philip Green and M&S boss
Stuart Rose.
The three bigwigs pledged any winnings from their joint bet will go to the NSPCC children's charity.
Fred - owner of the independent Betfred chain - was the only bookie who was prepared to accept the wager and offered extra-special odds.
The trio backed 40-1 shot Le Duc and 66-1 outsider Le Roi Miguel to win the big race on Saturday next week.
And last night Fred, 63, insisted he would be "delighted" to pay out the biggest-ever winning bet on the Aintree classic.
He said: "I'm no stranger to large bets, so I agreed to pay £1million for winning, £250,000 for second, £100,000 third and £50,000 fourth."
The bookie will have to dig even deeper if the horses come first and second - as the pay-out will be boosted to £1,250,000. But Fred said: "I never thought I'd hear myself say this but I really want to lose this bet."
