TemoinTemoin ran up against and beat Oscatello on the 4th February at Sandown, Sandown has an uphill finish, as does Cheltenham.
Temoin beat Oscatello that day by 1 3/4 lengths, with the rest of the field out of sight. Next time out Oscatello upheld the form, winning by an easy 13 lengths.
Temoin is moving from handicaps to a grade 1 hurdle, hence the long odds at 16/1. N J Henderson is confident his French charge can step up in class, as he's won all 3 of his handicaps well. I think Temoin will take all the beating on the Cheltenham stiff uphill finish.
The Racing Post pricewise tipster Tom Segal has tipped up Quatre Heures at around 14/1. Quatre Heures now trades at an 8/1 shot. If the Willie Mullins trained horse wins, 8/1 will be a good price. I think Temoin has the edge in value and form.
Tip - TEMOIN (16/1) (Bill Hills)
With the form for Temoin being upheld and a good price at 16/1 with Hills, my money is on Temoin.

Update (march 10)
Temoin is now trading at odds of around 11/1 with most bookmakers. Arguably still a reasonable price.

New MillNew Mill has opposed Brave Inca on 3 seperate occasions and has lost the race every time. That's the bad news.
Once again New Mill and Brave Inca were to race head to head in the Queen Mothers Chase. Brave Inca was the clear ante-post betting favourite, while New Mill was rated a lowly 20/1 chance to turn the tables up the hill at Cheltenham.
The good news is Brave Inca has now been taken out of the Queen Mothers Chase to take his chances in the Champion Hurdle. The connections know their horse better than anyone, that said, I still can't fathom why he was taken out of a Chase to run in a Hurdle. No official explanation has been forthcoming as yet.
I personally thought New Mill had a chance of turning the tables on the jolly at long odds of 20/1. Now Brave Inca has been withdrawn from the feild, New Mill(16/1) clearly has an even better chance.
Kauto Star and Moscow Flyer will have plenty to offer on the day, but at odds of 2/1 and 4/1 respectively, this pair offer little in the way of value for me.
Tip - New Mill (16/1) (Ladbrokes)
New Mill has run 3 good races on the bounce, has done nothing wrong and is still at the very generous at odds of 16/1, even after the withdrawal of arch rival Brave Inca.
