Game Firms and Red Cross At Odds
Just about every computer game ever infringes patent, but that makes no odds to the Canadian Red Cross, who are adamant they do not want game firms to use the red cross +TM symbol to signify ambulances or medical aid boxes during gameplay.
The red cross symbol is trademarked, so they have a point about it as a graphic. However, the red cross symbolises medical aid of all descriptions. To pick out game making firms is a bit much. The red cross is used everywhere. Not sure what the gamers have done to deserve the pointed finger treatment.
