QPR battled bravely against the Wolves, but succumbed to a Carl Cort hat-trick. The ex Wimbledon man has put a few past us now, I am not amused.
QPR went in two - one behind at half time. After the break, try as we may, the equaliser was beyond the QPR boys. Carl Cort got his third near the end and so the 3 points stayed at the Molineux.

QPRnet.com > Wolves Pre Match Warmup >> QPR travel to the Molineux this evening to face Glenn Hoddle's Wolves in what could be described as an "ahem" - table-topping clash.
We'll have to wait a few months to judge on that one.
QPR >> Santos is back, Rowlands is still out. Lee Cook, Mark Nygaard and Dean Sturridge also remain sidelined. Holloway will be looking for an extra special display after some not so great displays lately, to surprise the Wolves with today.
Wolves >> Glenn Hoddle has said he is delighted that this match was put back twenty four hours otherwise he may have been without three key players. Striker George Ndah, defender Joleon Lescott and winger Darren Anderton are all expected to play thanks to the extra days rest - great! However, Jody Craddock and Paul Ince both missed the weekend game and are expected to sit this one out as well.
QPR V Wolves Update >> QPR defender Matthew Rose is out.
Gareth Ainsworth sounded like the most dangerous QPR player out there tonight. Listening to the radio it seemed like QPR had broken the deadlock in the 90th minute, but sadly a Sheffield Wednesday boot cleared the ball to the halfway line and that was that.
If the QPR boys can forget the boardroom shenanigans and the last two 3-0 reversals, I think we can get to the top and hopefully stay up there for the duration.
I think QPR gave a stronger squad this season than last and no important players were sold during the pre-season. Hopefully QPR can get back on track with a win in front of the camera's, a rarity for the Superhoops.
Bill Power This is the only posting I will be making and, I will not be responding to any questions. Apologies if that is frustrating, but I am sure you will understand.
A lot of things are being said and posted which are wildly off the mark.
As in every board meeting different opinions were expressed, totally normal.
What should be noted is that everybody at that meeting believed they had the interests of QPR in mind. No I didnt agree with everything, but to put things into perspective there was 100% agreement about most of the topics discussed. Obviously I could not comment on the decisions that were made after Kevin and I had to leave the meeting for family reasons and it continued without us.
We are all talking amicably as we must above all else make sure that the club continues its revival.
Everyone of us want only success for the club.
Now what we all ask is that you do your part. When Ollie talks about the effect you have on the team it cannot be underestimated. We all know how unique our ground is when we really get behind the boys. We all remember the feeling around the place the night we beat Oldham in the play-off semi-final and that atmosphere is what we ask you to give us again tonight.
Whoever plays tonight give them your all and you can be sure they will give you the same back.
Finally I would like to thank everyone who has been kind enough to call me, text me and mail me. I have been overwhelmed by the many kind words that I have received and find myself truly humbled.
The recent incidents behind the scenes, which have involved the police and now yesterday's changes in the boardroom are emblematic of the manner in which we prefer QPR's business not to be conducted, i.e., in an opaque, uncertain, possibly illegal manner in which we, the supporters, are left in the dark, puzzled, and embarrassed.
QPR 1st Supporters Trust would like to reassure all Trust members and other stakeholders in QPR that it is in consultation with some of the involved parties and with lawyers with an eye to playing whatever role we can in the resolution of these developments in the best interests of QPR Football Club.
We urge the other Supporters' Groups at QPR to join us in seeking a meeting with all board members, the various parties involved and other key persons who are interested in open lines of communication with the QPR family, which, as we all are aware, is truly global in its reach.
Transparency is the fundamental hallmark of QPR 1st Supporters Trust. At this difficult time in our club's history, we pledge to members and non-members alike that we will continually seek out opportunities to engage key personnel at the club with the ultimate goal of letting the supporters make up their own minds.
We urge supporters not to divide over this situation and to unite to support the club in what has been a very difficult time last few weeks in the history of our truly wonderful football club.
QPR and the "whole QPR boardroom" are currently in chaos mode. Some directors are in jail over gun charges, now chairman Bill Power has been ousted by Gianni Paladini's crew.
What all this means for QPR is not clear. Our future is the hands of an ex football agent and some invisible moneymen from afar, rather than a born and bred, die hard Rangers fan.
Being a gambler, I understand fully I am going to have to be happy enough to wait and see what Paladini brings to the table, because this latest boardroom chaos sure feels like a gamble with the club's future to me.
That said, Bill Power refutes the validity of his ousting from the QPR board and is seeking legal counsel. So the QPR boardroom chaos is sure to continue unabated around Loftus Road for the foreseeable.
Cup Exit too much for Ollie to take >> Ian Holloway camped outside the referees changing room for 2 hours after the Northamprton 3-0 reversal.
Apparently Holloway had a detailed analysis of the match to hand via his laptop computer. Holloway was enraged over the half time exit of Ian Evatt after his sending off, and the late in the game, ex QPR striker Eric Sabin's weak penalty decision.
Lets hope QPR can do better on friday against Sheffield Wenesday at Loftus Road, regardless of the referee.
Returned home from work, put on the radio and am not amused. Without a win in their league Northampton 3 QPR 0 is what I hear. My thoughts go over to what Ian Holloway will have to say. On saturday QPR lost 3-0 to Coventry and Holloway said(ish) "we looked like sheep, Cov looked like lions".
Oh, new summer signing Ian Evatt made his debut in central defence for the suspended Danny Shittu and got himself sent off just before half time. Not sure what for though.
TEAMtalk - Holloway furious with defeat >> Ian Holloway is furious with the QPR players after todays 3-0 defeat at Coventry. Apparently the QPR players acted like shep and the Coventry players looked like lions.
Holloway said >> "Coventry definitely wanted to win didn't they? They were like lions (video) and we were like sheep"
QPR Boardroom Struggle Continues >> Paladini says, Power says, Morris in jail and a boardroom meeting on wednesday (23 aug 2005) where the QPR power struggle continues unabaited it seems. Oh, don't forget the Arab businessman Haleem Kherallah chiming in from afar.
BBC - Coventry 3-0 QPR Report >> A grim day for QPR at the built, nearly ready, new old Coventry ground. Coventry have always been a bogey side for QPR. Not only did we lose 3-0, Danny Shittu was sent off too and will serve a suspension QPR can ill-afford.
There are some other Paladini Conspiracy Theories about though.. Let's see what a couple of QPR posters have come up with.
♠ Perhaps Paladini is funding the club through money is getting by blackmailing the Catholic Church over his knowledge of the blood line of Christ.
♠ Paladini and Dunga have set up an international smuggling ring, smuggling QPR shirts into south america and eastern europe, with large numbers of shirts being spotted in kenya as well.
The ISSGB - or The International Shirt Smuggling Gang Busters - are setting the wheels of motion on the go - this is the first step towards crushing this multinational opporation, spanning 17 continents and millions of QPR shirts world wide.
Paladini, on his way to the board room, running from the ISSGB, was rumoured to have got wind of this sting months in advance and had an escape capsule built into the board room in an attempt to forego any legal wranglings.
With Mr Morris in court today for blackmail, appears that he was privvy to such information after finding the capsule during his daily routine of watering the board room flowers.
QPRnet.com - QPR 2 Sheffield Utd 1 >> Was returning from holiday on saturday and could only keep up with the QPR V Sheff Utd game on the radio. One thing I do know is we won and are 2nd in the league.

QPR REPORT: QPR 2 Ipswich 1 - Round Up Of Reports and Comments >> QPR took a 2-0 lead against Ipswich in our first home game fixture and much as Ipswich tried, they could not get the 2 goals they needed to equalise. Ipswich got 1 back, but Ranger got all 3 points. That's about all as I recall of the match via the teletext, as I was away on holiday.
