The other 7 seeded nations are Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico from South America. The European seeds are Germany, France, Italy, Spain. Don't forget England.
Apparently
Fifa seeded England in second place behind Brazil, which is a surprise.
When the World Cup draw is made for the group stages, England will avoid the other 7 seeded nations. Unseeded International sides include Holland, the Czech's and America. Hopefully Sven's team get a nice easy draw, so England can get through with the minimum of fuss. Eriksson may be able to get every player in the squad a runout, while progressing through to the cup knockout stages. Yeah right, one can wish.
The nation expects the Jules Rimet trophy to belong to the English for a while, the more knowledgable football fans are hopeful if not confident I guess, I don't know.
I for one think England have a fair chance of winning
the World cup Let's hope Argentina knock out the Brazilians, for the boys in yellow have the hoodoo over us, while we seem to be able to handle the Argentinian soccer team somewhat.
Come on England!
