Ideally, we would want to avoid any of the African teams and the South American teams in the group stages. Why the Africans? Because they're an unknow quantity, and I reckon we'd be more likely to lose to an African team like Ghana than Spain.
We don't seem to have the ability to play top class football against much lesser teams.
I'm sorry to see Uruguay aren't there. I was hoping they'd beat Australia.
