Darius Vassell has hit a purple patch for Man City and of course, scored 2 to sink his former side Aston Villa
Sven has always liked Vassell. I would not be surprised to see Darius in the next England squad to face Argentina in the friendly in Geneva, Switzerland in a few days time.
Peter Crouch is certainly out of form, but I doubt Sven will drop him. I still rate Vassell as a 50/50 chance to get in against the Argentinians.
