Under 21's - England 1 France 1u21 England 1Ambrose 87

35'000 fans to watch an under 21 clash can't be bad. White Hart lane must have been rocking. I missed the game sadly.
Liverpool's Anthony Le Tallec put the French u21's ahead just after the break. I gather the French deserved their lead after England's early dominance, but ended up lucky to go home with a 1-1 draw after England really put their foot down on the throttle for the majority of the second half.
Charlton's Darren Ambrose got England level very late on (87) after a host of England chances went begging. Darren Bent hit the woodwork and missed a good few more. Gladly Bent's team mate Ambrose levelled, to set up a real humdinger in France in the Stade Marcel Picot in Nancy in 2 days time. (tuesday november 15, live on Sky)
