Is gambling for mugs? Well Thomas says it is. Of course, 95% of gamblers lose. The other 5% will get banned if they carry on winning. Maybe Thomas is onto something. However, Thomas does not claim the fame of this gambling brainstorming session.

That, at least, is what Leamington's numero uno tipster (an Asian chap who works in Costcutter on the Radford Road and is regarded as an excellent local supplier of tips) told me about two years ago.
