QPR managed to scrape a 2-2 draw at home to Hull, who have not been going too well recently themselves.
From the commentary I heard Ranger uotply Hull in the first half, only to go in 1-0 down.
The second half started the same. Against the run of play QPR went 2-0 down and I feared the worst. Gladly for Rangers Wild Thing Ainsworth produced and got us level with a brace.
Late on the Hull goalie was sent off, we were all over Hull after that, but could not get the winner.
We are 6 points off the playoff spots still, but not far away from relegation either. If Rangers don't start getting some points in the bag, we will be drawn into a relegation battle. If we persevere with Rowlands and Langley in the centre of midfield, we will remain light on combativeness.
Of course, Bircham, Lomas and Doherty are injured. Not sure why our last "somewhat" combative midfielder Bean has'nt started in the last 2 games. Gladly Holloway knows what he is doing, even if I remain somewhat baffled. I am no football team manager though, so that point probably explains my confusion. I must admit, I can't work out whether Bean is a combative midfielder, a ball player, or neither either.
When our first team is out, it strikes me that Holloway does'nt have faith in the back-up. Maybe he is right, maybe not. We shall see.
