David Beckham (David Robert Joseph Beckham - OBE) was born in Leytonstone London on May 2 1975 to "David aka Ted" and Sandra Beckham. Becks currently plays for LA Galaxy in America and lives there with his wife Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice and 3 children (Romeo, Brooklyn, Cruz).
Beckham Football Debut
Beckham made his England international debut against Moldova in September 1996. His first club was Manchester United and he made his club debut in March 1995. Beckham left Man Utd at the end of the 2002/2003 season after a falling out with manager Alex Ferguson to join Real Madrid for a reported fee of £25 million. Beckham has now joined the American team LA Galaxy after Real Madrid failed to offer him a contract quickly enough, which ended on the 30th of June 2007.
Becks Abilities
Beckham is the most famous footballer in the world today. His technical and physical attributes are a top quality cross in his attacking armoury, good passing skills and a high work rate. Becks free kicks are second to none. Beckham is also the ex England team captain. The negatives for me are his temper sometimes gets the better of him on the pitch, and he is playing in the MLS league in America, which is not the most competetive in the world.
Beckham Youth Soccer Academy
Also worth a look is the just opened David Beckham Football Academy For Kids which can't be bad. Hopefully Becks employs some top quality youth coaches who will stay for the duration. Not ex pros who just want to use the teaching of the youngsters as a stepping stone into club management.

Becks should not be the England captain. He was never captain at Man utd or at Real madrid. Why has Sven made him captain of our England team?

My daughter attended the CA David Beckham Academy recently. They gave the kids great uniforms and little else. The coaches appeared bored. My daughter said they expected her to know what to do instead of showing her some moves. The academy should have stated that this camp was only for the very experenced player.The academy was not responsive to my questions.
