Christmas Betting Odds - Xmas Number One

The christmas number one betting odds are in. Surprisingly there is no mention of Don Fardon's Georgie Best, The Belfast Boy. I think if that song is re-released near xmas, it may end up the favourite tune for number one Top of the Pops yuletide wagering purposes.

At the moment, the 4/6 odds on favourite is whoever wins the X factor

There is a Santa Claus song priced up at the merry odds of 33/1 that might be popular with the christmas music crowd. I guess Father Christmas will be singing the song live from Lapland

Maybe Rudolph the red nosed reindeer - who had a very shiny nose if I recall, complete with fake snow, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid Donner and Blitzen will be the backing singers pulling a snowy sleigh full of children's presents and toys in their sled.

Frosty the Snowman may make an appearance too to sing the Frosty the Snowman Song for the big kids - you have been warned. If he does enter the yule charts - i'll be under the christmas tree with wrapping and tinsel wrapped around my head with the bauble decorations plugged into my earholes to drown out the sound. Maybe i'll just pull all the crackers until my eardrums burst. Once those snowman words and tune get into my head, they go round and round - like a pop song rythym that beats like a bad bass drum or dodgy rock guitar chord. I think the christmas dinner turkey, mince pies and cream may go out of the window in fit of what could best be described as brandy christmas cake blues.

I don't think the 4/6 price on the X factor favourite represent anything like value for the gaming public. Certainly not a decent winter betting or wagering proposition, especially as punters don't even know who the winner will be at the moment. Gamblog Comment - If the odds are produced to include the George Best song re-released, watch out for the price on offer in the betting. I will include those odds if and when they come in.
