Are Casino Gamblers Just Thick

Thick As ShitCasinomeister >> Casinomeister Newsletter >> Are Casino Gamblers Just Thick?

Bryan Bailey, the Casinomeister, runs the most high profile casino watchdog on the net. Highly respected generally, known as the uppermost authority on what is or is not a rogue casino operator.

The Casinomeister has gleaned many contacts over the years, good, bad and some downright ugly. Used to good effect in helping players get paid the money they are rightfully due. The Meister has had my support for years, for what it is worth.

Bryan finishes every newsletter with the words "Complaints? Kudos? Please let me know."

This post is not kudos, not this time. I will not idly stand by and say nothing when the players are apparently said to be to blame when they don't get paid what they are due. Are casino gamblers really so thick, that the likes of Frank Catania can try to palm off the plethora of player disputes that have dogged the online casino industry, onto their own ignorance? In full view of the Meister?

Are "many" casino gamblers really generally to blame for the payment problems that occur?

Is it really on to say the casino players simply fall victim to their own "misunderstandings or inflated expectations"? Inflated expectations include expecting the casino to abide by their own terms and conditions. Inflated expectations such as expecting to get paid out if they dare beat the house edge.

♠ Too often, the casino gambler has met the terms and conditions of the casino, but are abused by casino operators who withhold winnings unfairly.

♠ Abused by casino operators who call players who try too hard to seek to overcome the house edge - bonus abusers - bonus whores etc.

♠ Robbed by rogue casino operators who cannot work out the mathematics of any given promotion, solely designed to get the players into the casino so they can lose money hand over fist forever.

♠ Accused of taking liberties with the casinos "generosity".

♠ Accused of not abiding by "the spirit of the promotion". The promotion that is designed to get casino gamblers through their virtual doors for 1 thing - profit.

I would have hoped The Casinomeister take Frank Catania et al to task over such comments. The casino player is not thick. The casino player is not to blame when they get robbed in the broad daylight that is the internet.

I thank the Casinomeister for his work over the years. However, I cannot accept everything I read and today there is little in the way of kudos I can offer, if the Meister can only proffer such comments in defense of the casino gambler at large.

The Casinomeister Has Spoken - I think his explanation is sound. Sure sounds more like the Meister I know.Gamblog Comment >> For too long the player has been screwed by the unscrupulous. Frank Catania et al will not lay the blame at the players door. The casino player is not thick.

It is the casinos that take liberty after liberty that need to sort out their wording for promotions.

It is the casinos that need to drop the term "bonus abuse".

It is the casinos job to learn what usability on the internet is, not the player have to dodge the bullet all the time.

If the likes of Catania want to pontificate to a bunch of like minded people in a room, without the players input. Then I look to the likes of the Casinomeister to stand up for the little guy. If I can't trust the Meister implicitly after all these years, then all hope is foresaken for the player at large, the rogues win and I am out of here.
