Stephen Gerrard picked up a shin injury against the Austrians and will miss the last qualifier match against Poland on wednesday.
Funny thing is that Owen Hargreaves in not in the squad. It would have been a perfect opportunity for Hargreaves to play in the centre where he probably belongs and show us what he can do.
The most likely replacement for Gerrard will be Jenas. That said, I would'nt be surprised to see Ledley King play in midfield to deputise for Gerrard.
