Gary Carter Out Of Horseracing

Gaming Floor >> Duo banned for racing con > Gary Carter Out Of Racing

Ex jockey Gary Carter has been found guilty by the Jockey Club of a £80,000 betting scam and has been booted out of horseracing. Carter has been warned off for a 5 year period.

Carter furnished big time gambler Chris Coleman(53) information about horses he was due to ride in eight races. The high-rolling punter Coleman then used internet gambling site Betfair to back them to lose netting 80k.

On the Betfair betting exchange site, punters bet against each other on whether or not a horse will win.

Coleman took wagers to win from people on horses that he was confident would lose in the eight races.

His syndicate were so sure of their success they were prepared to stake almost £500,000 to cover bets.

They finally won more than £80,000.Gamblog Comment >> A sorry affair. One of greed and disrespect. Many fellow punters will have been robbed by big gambler Coleman. Many fans of Gary Carter, not just betfair punters, will have lost money in the bookies due to Gary Carter's greed. Placepot punters robbed. Forecast punters robbed. Horseracing form punters robbed. On and on it goes.
