Greg Fossil-Man Talking Poker On The Radio
Poker Pro Greg Fossil-Man Raymer chatted about poker for about 10 minutes on Talksport Radio today with Hawkesby and Jacobs.
Explaning poker in general offline and more importantly online, was the main point of the Fossil-Man interview. The online poker boom is big news here in the UK. There are a good few Poker programes on the TV these days and UK gamblers are learning poker quite quickly via the internet in the online poker rooms.
♠ However, what was most interesting was Greg Fossil-Man talking about long time pro players and hustlers, getting turned over playing poker by college students.
♠ Greg said the thought that the poker sharks will strip the college kids of their money easily has been dispelled. College kids are learning to play poker very well and are certainly giving the old time players a run for their money. Respect is due to the youngsters. If you don't give them respect, they will beat you, whoever you are Greg said.
Greg Fossil-Man Raymer won the 2004 World Series Of Poker. In the 2005 WSOP, Greg came in 25th, if I recall correctly.
