The Sunday Times carried an article today to highlight the history of Ed Ware, founder of 32 Red.com
The article highlights how Ed Ware was essentially born to be a part of the gambling industry, even having horse racing interests in early childhood. Ware went on to work for British bookmaker Ladbrokes for 15 years before leaving the company to form 32 Red which now competes with Ladbrokes internet wagering division.
Ed Ware quickly moved up the chain at Ladbrokes and soon found himself in charge of 10 betting shops, and then was further promoted to a position responsible for integrating AR Dennis into Ladbrokes. He was later sent to Gibralter to establish a telephone betting center for the company, but when Ladbrokes decided to move operations back to England, Ware decided to stay.
From there, Ware and 9 friends put forth the capital to form the 32 Red internet betting site, which caters largely to British gamblers.
