30k Bet On Azamour Landed
The 3.45 at the Royal Ascot meeting, run at York due to track renovation saw a £30'000 bet (win single) on Azamour at odds of 6/4 landed with apparent ease.
The 30k bet layed with chronicle on course, returned the heavy gambler £75 thousand ~ a profit of £45 thousand.
The going is officially good to firm at the York racetrack, but after heave rain the track is riding more like good, which is not really perfect for Azamour, but class told and Azamour steamed away from Ace in second and Elvstroem in 3rd in the final furlong with a bit to spare.
