The competition which is open to everyone over the age of 18 is being launched nationally this weekend to coincide with the FA Cup Semi-Finals, with a joint TV commercial between npower and Wembley Stadium. The competition runs until 31 October and is free to enter. Entry is via the website address,
www.wembleystadium.com/npowerIn the new commercial, npower builds the association between its recently developed brand icons and its position as the Official Energy Supplier to Wembley Stadium. The ad, created by advertising agency Isobel opens in a canteen with some builders gathered around a table commentating on a mini football match being played out in front of them by the two brand icons. The brand icons, albeit slowly, move around the table dodging the salt and pepper pots and mugs of tea to shoot and score. The 40 second spot again features a voice over by John Motson, talking about the opportunity to enter a competition onlineto win a pair of seats at Wembley Stadium for the next 10 years.
England Blog Comment >> The 10 Year Wembley Ticket Competition is free, you just have to give them your name and address so they can send you adverts and junk mail I suppose. Possibly a fair swap for the chance to win 10 years worth of tickets to Wembley. You decide for yourself.
